Our tours and who we are

Since 2014, we have been offering walking tours of the Historic Jewelry District. They are available on selected Saturdays from April to October. All tours begin at 10AM and last until noon, ending at the high point of the tour. The tour goes as scheduled, rain or shine.

A typical group is between 10 and 20 people. We conduct casual tours, urging our attendees to ask questions and make comments. We have learned a lot from our attendees who talked about their parents and others who worked in the district. We share what they have told us!

Our tours are sponsored by Greening the District

Tours are conducted by a long term Jewelry District resident and amateur historian. In addition to his research into the Jewelry District, he has had significant interaction and leadership roles in the present and future developments of the District.
